Paris, September 20th 2016.- The first edition of the Digital Procurement Summit, international event about procurement digitization organized by SynerTrade, was hold on the Yachts de Paris on Tuesday 13Th of September. Sneak peek of the day.

SynerTrade, European leader of eProcurement software, hosted its first Digital Procurement Summit in Paris on the 13th of September. This full day attracted more than 350 attendees, showing the increasing interest of the purchasing and finance processes automation within the company. The audience was exclusively composed of Procurement, Finance and IT directors, as well as emerging position such as CDO, Chief Digital Officer.

The software editor, now part of the Digital Dimension – Econocom Group, was able to present its strategic vision of the market within 3 years, but also its product roadmap in the short and medium terms, focused on 3 key elements:

  • P2P (Procure-to-Pay) process optimization including the automation of invoice processing, invoice/order matching and supplier portal.
  • User experience simplification through seamless interfaces, integration of the electronic signature and mobile apps.
  • Collaboration improvement with apps allowing to have a better visibility on data, anticipate risks, share information internally as well as externally.

This event has also been highlighted by a round table dealing with the companies processes digitization and its impact on the procurement strategies. Testimonials of the SUEZ, AXA and Mediaset (1st Italian media group) CPOs raised lots of questions and discussions.

After enjoying a nice networking break during a cruise on the Seine, the afternoon was dedicated to workshops to share customers’ experience such as AGCO, Engie and GRTgaz and partners’ best practices with PWC and Axys Consultants.
