Synertrade two strategic moves

Synertrade enters a new chapter. Here is what that means.

Synertrade has completed a management-led transaction and is now operating as a fully independent company, backed by investors who specialize in scaling B2B software platforms. Laurent Jeanmaire, previously COO, steps up as CEO. Fabien Guionnet becomes COO. The transaction closed March 31, 2026.

This is more than a change in ownership structure. It is the beginning of a sharper, more focused chapter, built around a clear mandate: platform excellence, execution discipline, and measurable value for every client.

Two strategic moves. One direction.

Independence brings clarity. And clarity makes acceleration possible.

The first move is a significant evolution in Synertrade’s operating model. The company is opening its implementation model to system integrator partners. This is a deliberate choice. Synertrade remains the orchestrator, responsible for the platform, the roadmap, and the quality of outcomes clients experience. But building an ecosystem around that platform is how you reach more organizations, faster, without compromising the standard that has defined the company for 25 years.

The second move is geographic. Synertrade is actively expanding its presence in North America: a market defined by scale, speed, and performance-driven procurement decisions. A market where the platform is built to deliver.

The conviction behind the platform

The procurement function has changed fundamentally. The CPO is no longer a cost manager. They sit at the heart of enterprise resilience, navigating geopolitical exposure, financial risk, cyber threats, and ESG obligations, often simultaneously, always under scrutiny.

What organizations need in this environment is not more data. It is clarity and the ability to act on it with confidence. That has always been Synertrade’s conviction: go beyond data, beyond risk, and turn complexity into decisions that hold.

That conviction is now backed by the structure, the investment, and the operational focus to accelerate. Synertrade 5, the company’s AI-integrated platform is the foundation. The roadmap ahead will be driven by the operational priorities that matter most to clients.

The analysis published by Spend Matters, a Hackett Group division, outlines the strategic significance of this transition and what it signals for the procurement technology market.

Beyond data. Beyond risk. At scale.
