Puesto: BI Consultant (f/m)


The purpose of this role is to design, develop and deploy BI dashboards based on the procurement data from the Synertrade Purchasing platform, usign QlikSense/QlikView tools


Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as an understanding of standard business drivers will be needed to be successful.


Collaboration with IT and consulting functional teams will be required to ensure solutions are delivered in accordance with internal and external business needs. Effective communication regarding the status of deliverables and a focus on the timely delivery of work products are key.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver BI and analytics solutions within agreed timeframe working directly with internal and external business and IT teams as needed
  • Clearly monitor progress on assigned development activities and routinely report back status. Proactively identify and report areas where overrun of time may occur
  • Interact with internal and external customers, to understand and gather requirements, provision data, and design and build solutions
  • Document solutions thoroughly for hand off to support team
  • Follow all appropriate Change Control processes
  • Identify opportunities and make recommendations for improving resilience, reliability and efficiency of products within the BI scope
  • Coach and teach other team members as needed


Education & Qualifications:

  • University or higher education degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience



  • 2+ years experience delivering BI and analytics solutions with Qlik technologies (QlikView, Qlik Sense)


 Specialist Knowledge & Skills:

  •  Knowledge in Database MS SQL Server/Oracle
  • Basic familiarity with Infrastructure technologies as defined for functional area of responsibility
  • Able to work effectively in a dynamic, matrix environment
  • Able to translate technical terms to operational terms and vice versa. Able to perform technical analysis and produce effective business requirements documentation
  • Possess analytical skills enabling trouble-shooting on software and hardware
  • Capable of delivering written and graphical work products and presentation materials
  • Comfortable presenting to internal / external customers in formal or informal situations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel



Specific Technical Skills:

  • Development experience with Qlik products including QlikView, Qlik Sense
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with data provisioning techniques as well as comfort working with large multi-dimensional data sets
  • Experience/understanding of standard database platforms



Mandatory conditions

  • Available to travel in and out the country
  • High English written&spoken skills



  • Highly valuable experience in the Procurement áreas (Source to Contract; Spend Management, eSourcing, SRM, Procure to Pay) and area key indicators
  • Certifications in BI, database, and other related technologies are desirable but not necessary
