Supply Chain Act

What you need to watch out for in the future!

From 01 January 2023, the Due Diligence Act, also known as the Supply Chain Act, will apply to companies with more than 3,000 employees, and from 2024 to companies with more than 1,000 employees.

It obliges German companies to check and demand compliance with minimum social and ecological standards from direct suppliers.

With the new Supply Chain Act, companies are required to ensure that human rights and working conditions are respected in global value and supply chains, especially in low-wage countries, and to limit the negative impacts of environmentally damaging production.
